Jurong Bird Park

Singapore Jurong Bird Park, 2 Jurong Hill (Bus No. 194/251 from Boon Lay MRT). A 20.2 hectare open-concept park dedicated to, you guessed it, birds in all shapes and sizes.

The Park specialises in birds from Southeast Asia and the more exotic and colorful tropical birds, and its collection of more than 8,000 birds from 600 species is among the largest in the world. The park is attractively presented and quite enjoyable even if you aren't a hardcore ornithologist.

To ease the pain of slogging around in the tropical heat, you can circle the park with the Panorail monorail ($4).
